Welcome to The Listening Post

My recently published book, "The Listening Post" is now available.

The book, which I have subtitled "Reflections of a Vietnam Veteran",  "A Snapshot of Life" is all of those things.  The book chronicles some of memories of growing up in Chillicothe, Ohio, the vacations that we took, my life at Miami University and Oregon State University, my marriage to Delma, my experiences in Vietnam, and my life after Vietnam.  As I look back upon my life with my wife, Delma, and our three children, Connie, Anna, and David, I reflect upon how my life and the decisions that we made might have been impacted by my Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) stemming from my experiences as I served in Vietnam from November 1967 through November 1968.

In the book I have included a few photographs of my life at Camp Carroll in South Vietnam I Corp, including some of the perimeter area where the Listening Post and the guard bunker to which we were assigned are located.
